IPSWICH BUSES SLASHES COSTS OF WEEKLY BUS TRAVEL

Throughout February, Ipswich Buses have slashed the cost of a ten ticket smartcard pass from £16.50 to just £10.

Pre-loaded smartcard tickets can be purchased from the Hub coffee lounge, Amigos or the Ipswich bus station office at Tower Ramparts. Once purchased these smartcard tickets can be topped up on the bus – ask driver for further details or see SERVICE 192 Price Change Feb12 v1.

Managing Director of Ipswich Buses Malcolm Robson states:
“By cutting the cost for daily travel to £1 per journey, this is an ideal opportunity for local people in Ipswich to make significant savings in their travel costs at a time when everyone is watching every penny they spend.

Ipswich Buses provides a comprehensive network of bus services around Ipswich at all times of the day and week. £10 for ten individual trips on any of our services is a superb offer, once again showing our Company continues to be committed to promoting local sustainable public transport alternatives at affordable prices.”

This offer comes after another year without fares increases on Ipswich buses local services. Fares were last increased in 2009.
